P.Glia was recently founded by Penka Pesheva, PhD in neurobiology and until 2010 professor of neurobiology at the University of Bonn. Penka pesheva combines more than twenty years of research experience in cellular and molecular neurobiology with several years experience in marketing and business development, lately as a founder and president of Herclitus Biosciemces. P.Glia is her new start in glial cell business which has just begun its marketing and sales activities in 2011.

P.Glia is dedicated to the development of

1) innovative technologies for the isolation, culture and analysis of glial and neuronal cells

2) glial-cell-based models for new drug and biomarker discovery related to neurodegeneration (i.e. multiple sclerosis, brain trauma) and brain repair
